Being originally built in Safavid Empire era, the structure of Abbasi Hotel has been renovated in 1959 by André Godar (1881–1965), who was a French archaeologist, architect, and historian of Iran and the Middle East. The 1974 film “And Then There Were None”, starring Oliver Reed and Elke Sommer, was shot in this hotel.
