One of the attractions of southern Iran is the presence of the Persian Gulf. Its beauty and charm have a long history.
It is interesting to know that the Persian Gulf has 15 inhabited islands and about 20 uninhabited islands. Every year, a large number of domestic and foreign visitors join specific Persian Gulf Tours and visit the beautiful gulf regions and islands.

Persian Gulf Attractions

The Persian Gulf is a waterway that runs along the Oman Sea between Iran and the Arabian Peninsula. It covers an area of 233,000 square kilometers, and is the third largest gulf in the world after the Gulf of Mexico and Hudson’s Bay. The Persian Gulf flows east through the Strait of Hormuz and the Sea of Oman into the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea, and ends west along the Arvand River, which joins the Tigris and Euphrates rivers and joins the Karun River.

You should have at least six days time to visit the natural attractions and amazing sights of the islands in the Persian Gulf, visit the dolphins and other attractions of Hengam and set foot on the rainbow land of Hormuz island. Plan for at least 3 days to visit the amazing natural sights of Qeshm; the largest island in the Persian Gulf.

Although the Persian Gulf has about 15 inhabited islands and 20 uninhabited islands, in the meantime, Qeshm, Hengam and Hormuz are in the same neighborhood and a little further away, Kish and Hindurabi are more famous together and have more diverse attractions.
